FLAT RATES (One Character, No Background):

• $25 - Quick and Dirty Sketch - The building lines are still here, limited clean up.

• $35 - Cleaned Sketch - Building lines are erased and lines are cleaned up a bit, but some will still be there.

• $50 - Inked - One color, solid clean lines, line weight here and there.

• $60 - Flat Colors - No shading. Upcharge for complicated markings.

ADDITIONS:

• $5-10 - Spot Colors - Adding important/signature markings to an otherwise mono-color image

• $5 - Simple Background - Shapes, patterns, or photo with a filter

• $10 - Mid-Level Background - Simple items, low details, not shaded

• $25 - Complicated Background - Fully drawn backgrounds, and/or colored or shaded

• Additional Characters - 50% of full price of piece unless character is obscured. 25% for obscured.

 

HOURLIES ($45 an Hour):

• Cell Shading - 1-2 layers of shading, hard edges, min highlights

• Softened Cell Shading - 1-2 layers of shading, some edges and sections softened, min highlights

• Deep Shaded - multiple layers of shading, soft edges, highlights, etc.
